Crypto Payment Processors and Gateways for iGaming Operators
A crypto payment processor for a casino handles deposits and withdrawals in Bitcoin, Ethereum, USDT and other assets, converts to fiat where the operator wants it, and screens transactions for AML. This category spans MiCA-authorised European gateways, stablecoin infrastructure now owned by a card scheme, and offshore processors with little regulatory cover.

Crypto gateways differ from each other more than any other category on this site. At one end are providers with MiCA crypto-asset service provider authorisation from the Bank of Lithuania or the Central Bank of Ireland, a Singapore Major Payment Institution licence, or an Estonian VASP licence, all of which publish fees and client numbers. At the other end are non-custodial or offshore processors that state openly that they hold no EMI, VASP or MiCA licence, work mainly with offshore casinos, or do not publish a headquarters at all. Both ends serve iGaming; which one you can use depends on your own licence and your bank.
Pricing is more transparent here than for card acquiring. Several providers publish flat per-transaction rates of around half a percent to one percent, with separate payout, conversion and network fees; stablecoin infrastructure players quote payouts per hundred dollars and require minimum monthly volumes. Volume claims are large and worth reading critically: reported figures in this category include billions of euros handled per year, hundreds of online casinos as merchants and hundreds of thousands of merchants on the oldest gateways.
Integration patterns are consistent: a REST API with webhooks or IPN callbacks, a hosted checkout or iframe, mass payouts, invoices and CMS plugins, and increasingly native connectors to casino platforms and cashier orchestrators. Regulatory events in 2026 show why licensing matters: one long-established gateway paused EU/EEA service in July 2026, and a major stablecoin processor was acquired by Mastercard in August 2026. Operators should also check availability by country, since at least one provider here does not serve the US.
