What data we collect
CashierRank is an informational website and does not require registration, so we collect very little personal data. When you visit, our analytics service records technical information such as your approximate location derived from a truncated IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, how you arrived and how long you stay. This data is pseudonymised and used only to understand which content is useful and to fix technical problems. If you email us, we keep your message and address for as long as needed to reply and to maintain a record of corrections, and we do not add you to any mailing list. We do not collect payment details, identity documents or gambling activity, and we have no access to any casino or payment provider account you hold.
Cookies
We use a small number of cookies. Strictly necessary cookies remember your language choice and consent preferences and do not require consent. Analytics cookies, which measure how the site is used, are set only after you accept them in the consent banner, and you can withdraw that consent at any time through the cookie settings link in the footer. Affiliate links may set a cookie on the partner's domain when you click through, so that the partner can attribute an account opening to us; this is governed by the partner's privacy policy, not ours. We do not use advertising networks, retargeting pixels or cookies that track you across unrelated websites. Your browser settings also allow you to block or delete cookies, although language preferences may then reset on each visit.
Third parties and transfers
Analytics data is processed by our analytics provider on our behalf under a data processing agreement, and the site is hosted by a cloud provider that may store server logs for security purposes for a limited period. When you follow an affiliate link, the destination site becomes an independent controller of any data you provide there. We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with payment providers, casinos or advertisers. Where a provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, transfers are covered by standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision. Our processing is based on your consent for analytics cookies and on our legitimate interest in running and securing the website for strictly necessary processing.
Your rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation and equivalent laws, you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability where applicable, and to withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier processing. Because analytics data is pseudonymised, we may not be able to link it to you, in which case we will explain why. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority. We retain analytics data for a maximum of 26 months and email correspondence for up to three years, after which it is deleted unless a legal obligation requires longer retention.
Contact and changes
Questions about this policy and requests to exercise your rights can be sent to [email protected] with the subject line Privacy. We will respond within one month, as the GDPR requires, and may ask you to confirm your identity before releasing data. This policy may be updated to reflect changes in the site, the law or our providers; the date of the latest version is shown at the bottom of this page, and material changes will be announced in the consent banner. Continued use of the site after a change indicates acceptance of the updated policy for strictly necessary processing, while analytics consent will be requested again if the purposes change.
