What we publish and why
CashierRank publishes ratings and guides about payment methods used at online casinos. Our purpose is practical: help an adult reader move money in and out of a gambling account as quickly, cheaply and safely as possible, and understand the rules that apply in their country. We do not promote gambling, we do not run casinos, and we do not publish casino brand reviews. Every page is written for a reader who has already decided to play and wants the payment side done right.
Where the facts come from
Fees, limits, speeds and availability are taken from the provider's own published terms, fee schedules and help pages, and from regulator publications for legal status. Each method page links to the official site of the provider and to the relevant regulators. Where a provider does not publish a figure, we say so and use a range observed in licensed casinos rather than a single number. We never copy figures from other comparison sites.
How scores are produced
Six criteria are scored on a 1 to 10 scale and combined with fixed weights published on the methodology page. The weights are the same for every method and have not changed since launch. A score cannot be bought, and no provider or casino has seen a score before publication. Where a judgement is required, for example how often a method is excluded from bonuses, we document the rule in the methodology and apply it consistently.
Independence and affiliate links
CashierRank is funded by affiliate commissions from some outbound links. Commissions never influence a score, a rank or whether a method is listed. Affiliate links are marked nofollow, and the same disclosure appears next to every rating. Our writers are not paid per referral and have no financial stake in any payment provider or casino.
Updates and corrections
Every page carries a published date and a last-reviewed date. Fee schedules are re-checked monthly and regulatory changes are reflected within two weeks of taking effect. If you find an error, email [email protected] with the page URL; confirmed corrections are made within three business days and material changes are noted on the page.
Responsible gambling
Content is for adults aged 18 or over. We link to free help organisations on every page and never present a payment method as a way to gamble more or faster than you planned. Pages describing countries where online gambling is restricted state that fact plainly and do not advise readers on circumventing local law.
